What is DAVINCI?

A decompression device that applies traction while considering spinal curvature and the patient’s condition after assessing neck or lower-back concerns.

  • Curvature-aware traction: the device offers functions that consider the curves of the neck and lower back beyond straight-line traction.
  • Adjustable motion: the manufacturer describes controls for traction, left/right rotation and bending/extension.
  • Assessment first: the clinician chooses the area, position and intensity after examining neck/back pain and disc-related concerns.

Review symptoms and existing tests → explain suitability → adjust position and intensity → monitor discomfort and subsequent changes.

Tell us about surgery, fractures, osteoporosis or pregnancy. Responses vary; disc recovery or replacement of surgery is not guaranteed.

Fertility and recurrent pregnancy loss

We discuss concerns while preparing for pregnancy, menstrual pain, abdominal discomfort, sleep and digestion. We review gynecological tests, treatment history and current medicines to discuss individualized Korean medicine care. Recurrent pregnancy loss requires gynecological evaluation and follow-up; complementary care is considered together.

Your treatment visit

This is a general guide. After assessment, we select only suitable treatments; the order may change. English-speaking care is available.

1. Consultation and assessment

Tell us your symptoms, conditions, medicines, allergies and possible pregnancy. Chuna manual therapy may be offered after explanation. Follow the clinician’s instructions on posture and breathing.

2. Physical therapy before acupuncture

If appropriate, electrical therapy such as interferential current or TENS may be used. Tell staff immediately if it hurts or feels too strong. The intensity can be adjusted.

3. Acupuncture and additional care

Acupuncture, electroacupuncture or injection therapy may be recommended and explained after assessment. Ultrasound may assist when needed. Report sharp, spreading pain or severe discomfort immediately.

4. Finishing your visit

Additional physical therapy, such as magnetic field therapy, may follow if appropriate. Tell us about pacemakers, metal implants or pregnancy beforehand. Follow staff guidance about hearing aids and other devices. We explain aftercare and your next visit.

Herbal medicine and weight management

When appropriate, we explain herbal prescriptions, use, precautions and costs. Insurance depends on eligibility and the prescription. Weight management reviews diet, lifestyle and body composition to create an individual plan.

Contact the clinic if pain persists or worsens after treatment. Treatments, frequency and responses vary by person.
